Who we are...

J.A. Landscaping was created in 2010 by Jesse and Andrea Sackett.  Both Jesse and Andrea have horticulture degrees and have  worked in the horticultural or green industry for over 18 years. Only after moving to Columbus, NC from upstate New York, did we decide to start our own business.

Jesse earned his bachelors degree in Turfgrass Management and Ornamental Horticulture from the State University of New York at Delhi.  He has experience as a tree and lawn care professional,  golf course maintenance supervisor,  residential / commercial landscape installation and maintenance specialist.

Andrea earned her bachelors degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Cornell University.  She is our resident plant expert and specializes in sustainable landscape design.  She has experience in garden center management, landscape maintenance and sales management.
